  • doesn't matter, less piping = more responsive turbo

  • They dont require backpressure but you can also have weird things happen with no backpressure.

  • @rlp951 yeah man i have a 2010 Jetta 2.5L with a manual cutout its basically the same thing as this but instead of electronically oppenning it i needa hand open it or close it whenever i want to. My car stock sounds like a blow dryer-_- now with the cutout its sounds like an R8 ( Im not exagerating ill post a vid) its back fires make me jiz every time.

  • Whoa! That makes a huge difference. I really want one. If anybody knows if these are ok for my BMW 330ci 2004 please give me some advise. Thanks in advanced.

  • @frosty9595 i have obd1 so that should not throw a code for me I think? but for the most part does not seem like to many cons.

  • @atreyukicks you've forgot to take into account that there is a throttle plate severely limiting the amount of air entering the engine unless your at full throttle. Not to mention restrictions from casting differences in the heads or short cam duration. You can't expect to completely fill a .5l tube through that tiny little tube in the head. You can't even expect each cylinder to get a equal amount of air....

  • @ceelm burnt exhaust valves... hard cold starting.... long engine warm up... on fairly stock street cars I have even seen silly things like egr codes

  • @frosty9595 like what?

  • @JDM4LlFE no it wouldnt, it would go out the alternate route wich is the muffler

  • I dont get the stupid "backpressure" comments... running a 1200rpm idle on a 2.0l car your crank is turning 20 times per second. on a 4 banger 4 stroke car this translates into moving 20l (or 20 000 cc (cm3)) of air/gas PER SECOND. Coming out of a 2.5" diameter pipe, there is no way you can ever not have back pressure.

  • @JDM4LlFE haha your right if thats a week cover. i guess what im getting at is can you hear an exhaust leak?

  • @PIZMORIDERS if it was air tight it would explode o_0
