Stephen Hawking - God, the Universe, & Everything Else / Carl Sagan, Arthur C. Clarke (1988) British journalist and TV host Magnus Magnusson tackles big questions about our universe in this educational colloquium that brings together three of the 20th century's leading scientific thinkers: theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, astronomer Carl Sagan and author Arthur C. @BigMisterBig1 Yah, why are they all the same? Seems every time I leave a comment on a video like this that isn't about left-brain ideology people pounce on me, but the weird thing is they always sound exactly the same and generally say the same things. You know, a lame little insult followed by this and that. Maybe they're really are robot humans.
IF God existed then he could intervene in the world, but since we have laws that govern the physical world, he cannot exist. In order for God to not be bound by the laws of the universe, magic would need to exist. And in order for there to be a God at all, magic must exist. But magic does not exist, therefore neither can God. IF God exists then there would be NO laws.
It is not our egos that have the problem. It is our logic and critical thinking. As Carl says, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. We tend to rely on intelligence rather than emotion, reality rather than fantasy, and facts rather than superstition. We wonder why others refuse to accept logic, and choose mythological beliefs over common sense and rational thinking. :)

Spinoza answered both questions 350 years ago with just one shot:
"THE REASON WHY IT EXISTS [GOD OR NATURE/EXISTENTIAL QUANTUM] IS THE SAME WHY IT ACTS." (Spinoza/Silveira)
