No offense, I'm a "power user and found that its much better thatn the Blackberry. It seems like an honest review, but you just didn't know the phone very well. Your complaints were minor in the grande scheme of a smartphone. If your complaint would be battery life or the keyboard I would understand (im used to the keyboard now). But to each his own

Don't worry, you'll be very happy. I am! I didn't read any manuals and figured out how to work all of the things he couldn't grasp, like how just one more swipe back would TAKE you to your mailboxes? No I'm no gear/tech head. Dunno, sounds like a hired gun to me.

You know you can touch the actually notification with the number in it and that will take you to the mail box rather then the individual mail if thats what you prefer. The phone is fairly easy to use and navigate.

See I knew someone would figure it out. That was may main "pain" point that I wanted to go right to the inbox and not to an individual message. I'd also like to be able to tag several messages for quick deletion. I wouldn't say it was hard to navigate --- just clumsy and seemed like a lot of wasted swiping for someone who gets a lot of email.

For the same time it takes to Tag a message for deletion on a blackberry, you can swipe a message off the screen on the Pre to delete it right away. It's very fast to delete multiple emails, just quickly swipe them all off the screen.

My problem was when the notification came in for email and l clicked through it took me directly to the individual email and then for me to see the other half a dozen emails that came through at the same time I had to keep swiping back and forth. It just drove me nuts. It could be just a problem I have with the way the Pre works -- so it's more an FYI than anything I guess. It was serious enough for me that I know I could never use it for processing my regular volume of email on a daily basis.

"on the blackberry, it's 2 clicks and your back" yet one swipe is too much work??? WTF man.
