Vídeo com imagens feitas entre 1989 e 2003 nas primeiras expedições brasileiras de mergulhadores realizadas para Cuba pelo instrutor Fernando Kuramoto.
A presença do recordista mundial PIPIN que ainda vivia em Cuba pode ser vista em algumas imagens.
Havana, Ilha da Juventude, Playa Girón e muitos lugares que foram explorados nas várias viagens realizadas.
Mergulhos em cavernas, naufrágios e muitos dos pontos da Ilha da Juventude, com saídas do RANCHON aparecem neste vídeo.
Podemos ver muitos dos equipamentos usados na época e como eram as técnicas de mergulho.
A interação com o a fauna marinha era intensa e não existia tanta consciência pela preservação ambiental por parte dos mergulhadores.
Images taken between 1989 and 2003. The presence of Pipin who still lived in Cuba can be seen in some images. Havana, Isla de la Juventud, Playa Girón and many places that have been explored in several trips. Diving in caves, shipwrecks and many of the points of the Ilha da Juventude and Restaurant Ranchon appear in this video. We can see many of the equipment used at those time, as were the techniques of diving. The interaction with the the marine life was intense and there wasn't so much awareness for environmental preservation by divers.
