  • I havn't been in disney for so long... :(

  • ummm........ someone was on my youtube account..... this was in my watched videos list.... and i havn't been to Disney in like... ten years...

  • Ok, just wanted to make sure you didnt miss lead anyone. I appoligze for the rant but I tend to take offense when people bash older boilers that have been lovingly taken care of by their crew.

  • Oh, no, sorry I was thinking of some other place, I don't even know if it still is in service! Yeah, there was a book I read about all his 4-4-0s and they said the shop re-boilered them. I don't go to Cedar Point that much anymore, there's not really any place I can just watch the daily passenger runs without paying the fair to get in the park.

  • You need to get your facts right! Though two of the engines may be over 100 years old, their boilers are not. Two engines had new boiler when built for Disneyland in 1955 and the other three got new boilers when they were rebuilt for use at Disneyland with the Kimball being the most recent in 2005. You live in Ohio so I assume you have been to Cedar Point, two of the engines I run were built in 1922 and 23 and got new boilers in 90 and 92 respectivly

  • They could go faster, however the boilers are weak, being made in the 1800's, and could explode if to much pressure is put on them.
