  • The problem picking up the record and putting it back has been fixed... it was the mute switch.

  • you got the bug i see no one can stop at just one juke.LOL

Do some more seeburg vids we have not seen that one for a long time .

If you could fix that one then this one will be no problem Try to spray contact cloeaner in to all microswitches thats the week part of the wurlies

  • Hi there, thanks for the comment. I have sprayed contact cleaner on the key contacts to no avail. I think there is a problem energizing the letter solenoids underneath or a problem energizing them. I dont know if you noticed in the video but i have two of the americanas, a 200 and 100 select. Next time im home ill try to post some more fo the seeburg. But check my profile there is two relatively recent ones.

  • What is the link for the jukebox forums? I have a Wurlitzer 2700 (a few years before the Americana) and it will only select and play erraticlly. It's sort of like in "pay mode". Also, where can you find a coin mechanism for that model?

  • It's the trip switch. Those microswitches are notorious for sticking. It's that microswitch on the back of the mech shroud. Sometimes you can flip it several times and break up the crud - otherwise, you have to try and find another one.

  • Gidday Mate, Thanks for the comments on the DS160 seeburg that I am starting on. I have just finished restoring a Wurlitzer Statesman... its usually the micro switches that play up on these babys. Hop onto the jukebox forums, lots of the old boys are ex techs and keen to help.

    Cheers John
