@buskerjohn1 if its a 7 string, that would be a low B.. B E A D G B E, mind you i dont know if he's in standard.

This is really cool. That low d sounds great. Nice Guitar. But more importantly, and contrary to what some comments here express, it sounds very fluid and musical. The kind of thing you could really relax and listen to. I have seen Vishwa Mohan Bhatt perform live a couple of times and the Mohan Veena is a thing of great beauty. But this music sounds nice.And it sounds like you are enjoying it. Thank you for posting.

Whats your tuning?

i love this...this is so amazing!

Bitchen. Very cool.

Wow really cool, I wonder how it would sound on the lower 7th string, if you ran another string beside it two octaves higher as a drone.
Love the sound you get.

Nice... relax, try less... allow the song to move you...

Wow, you're really great. That is such a nice sound you're producing. I hope to come check you out soon!

try to follow some actual chords when improvising, that way it doesnt sound quite as... unrefined

Thank you for your comment. I'm quite aware of chord changes and if you would like to hear me improvise around them check out some of my other videos. This was inspired by North Indian Classical music, which I learned directly form Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and his disciples. There are no chords, rather a Raag. Check out Some Ali Akbar Khan or Ravi Shankar and perhaps you'll understand.

I don't even see any slide! What's going on here? How are you doing them?

Well, I'm using a Dunlop glass slide that I had cut at my local glass blower. It's small enough so I still have full use of my pinky, which is where the slide is. I also try and move my hand quickly and fluidly across the string in an effort to blur out the sound of the frets, a tecnique I have learned by watching Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, Matthew Grasso, and Prasanna.
