Oktava MK-012: Real vs. Fake

Here's what you need to check out to make sure you have authentic Oktavas and not the chinese knock-off. This is the MSP6 set; matched pair with cardioid, hyper-cardioid and omnidirectional capsules.

Notable characteristics:
- MK-012 (some versions that came just with the cardioid capsule may be called MC-12)
- silveer flathead screws (blac philips head are chinese).
- 10 dB pads and metal clips
- spring-loaded connectors on the pads and the body
- silver-sputtered connectors on capsules, pads and body
- comes in a wooden box (low quality box)

It's not chinese fake. Real of Russian mic, looks like because this is full handmade productions (like neumann but with russian minimalistics).
