  • Congratulations on your assumed superior eco-status. Just something to think about - you're not the only one using renewable energy at home, or who cycles/walks to work. Actually while we're measuring are you a vegetarian or a vegan? (I am, a vegetarian that is). I've made my lifestyle choices for my own reasons and funded them without assistance from the government (i.e my taxes). Can you say the same? Anyway I can't refute your apocalyptic claims in the limited space here so I'll leave you be.

  • Good on you. No more trolling please.

  • What shrill nonsense. Delivered with a voice as grating as Pauline Hanson's. Also, why do watermelon socialists like Christine persist with disingenuously calling Carbon Dioxide simply "Carbon" (as in Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme). CO2 is not the same thing as "Carbon" and it is certainly not pollution. I doubt this comment will be posted though, the left have always had a thing for totalitarianism...

  • So you are apparently from "the right", and have not bothered to listen to what Christine has to say. Ad hominem attacks really don't further your cause, whatever that may be. Take a deep breath, have another listen, and think before you type.

  • I did listen to what Ms Milne said, all of it. For what it's worth I don't have "a cause" to further, I don't support any party, I have no vested interests in the mining industry or anything of the sort. I am simply one small, albeit productive member of society who is loathe to accept the ever greater tax burden imposed by governments of all levels. If Carbon scares you so much why not turn everything off right now. Don't wait for the government to impose its carbon tax. Live what you preach.

  • More ad hominem, but directed at me this time? Our house produces 75% of its electricity and consumes about 1/5 of a "normal" 5 star house. I ride my bike to work and don't use my car much.

Carbon doesn't scare me, but bushfires all around the world, floods, hurricanes, rising sea levels and rapidly retreating glaciers do.

Taxes are the least of our worries. If it really bothers you then earn less money.

You mean climate change scares you? The climate changing, as it does and will do scares you? Ok then...
