Expanding the polyphony on the Monomachine through the Userwave function. Here, the polyphony is quadrupled in the first part and tripled in the second part. If needed, you can take out some of the polyphony after the fact with some creative use of filters and EQ. The new Monomachine +Drive option allows more than 7000 userwaves to be stored and used. Looking forward to getting that on this little guy. (HD video available - good for taking a look at the screen in detail ;-) ) Check out my video "Mono rocks it oldschool" for some more SuperPoly.

  • Sure thing. Actually I already uploaded them a while ago when I first made the video. Head on over to the Elektron Users forum and search for the "Monomachine SuperPoly" thread. The Monomachine files are linked there. Enjoy :)

  • so, basically you layer samples (waveforms) by resampling in a daw? sounds good, I've been layering chord samples on my machinedrum before, never thought of doing this with the monomachine, could be very interesting :) thanx for the watch, you seem on top of your game with all your mindblowing elektron videos, thanx for pushing things forward!

  • @TrondC Thanks - the +Drive really gave me the room to try a lot more stuff. I've come to believe that the Userwaves is the most powerful part of the MNM. Check out the Roland D-50...the parallels to the MNM are clear and the D-50 is one of the great Roland synths. Anyway, keep up the great work on rocking the Elektron boxes :)

  • would love to know any FREE sources of single-cycle waveforms!

    :D

    peace

  • @aphasia8 There's a *huge* one by 3OT and Opuswerk - have a search for those two names plus "waveforms".

  • Knowledge dropped!

  • @Xsynth Thanks!
