I have fat fingers, easiest way I've found to play this chord clean is to bar the three strings. With practice, you don't deaden the high E string. Angle your finger down slightly toward the nut. Works for me.

I think from A cord u strum from 3rd string down. From D cord 4th string down and for E 6th string down O.o
