The closest thing to Practice mode is Time Attack mode...

actually, you can go to edit mode, and then load and test the course. It gives you unlimited lives and laps and stuff.

@brhcpjanint practice mode is in the edit area, timeattack is the real deal! :D but practice mode only lasts for about 10 mins.. :)

The track editor has a viris. Don't get it. trust me, it cost us our family a whole lot of money from this stupid program. Nice course though.

But, you can practice on edit courses, which I'm assuming is what brhcpjanint was wanting to do, because he commented on a video of an edit course. And, he can always go to time attack and use savestates. That's good practice.
