NOT perfect by any means, but this adaptation of the Jodi Picoult novel starring Cameron Diaz and Abigail Breslin has a really interesting take on how medicine can keep people alive for too long vs. a mothers instinct to protect her children at all costs. The perfect antidote to Year One and the forthcoming Brüno, its likely to reduce you to tears, too.

  • i saw this movie 14 times and stil cryed :(

  • Having read the book before watching the film My Sisters Keeper is pretty much like the book, although i thought Cameron Diaz wasn't a good choice to play the mother cos she was the only wooden actor in it & like the book the film made me cry too, which i aint ashamed to admit either & hope they do more films based of Jodi Picoult books too especially 19 minutes like.

  • this film made me cry even when people were in the room and i hardly ever cry wen other people are in the room

  • The only reason someone might not like this movie is because they don't understand it. Well, I still don't completely understand it but I love it. I saw it at filmsi.co.cc several times.

  • omg dis movie is so sad

  • sent shivers down my spine

  • @LoneSola She didn't refuse to give her the Kidney her sister asked her to make it look like she didn't want to. And obviously people will think "wtf" when seeing in the trailer that she didn't want to give the kidney, it's the whole point in making someone watch a movie, to not a give the story away in a trailer.

  • @sssss184 so the girl with cancer wanted to die, and that's why her sister refused to give her a kidney? that's all i wanted to know. you have to admit that it can easily be taken the wrong way if you just see the trailer.

  • @LoneSola You're missing the point, when someone's ready to die they're ready to die. You can't force someone into it. She accepted it and was ready.
