It is not heavy it is made of aluminum and it is very well made. I was really happy to see this mount.

@heavensarmory Nightforce recently decided to discontinue the 2.5-10x24mm model. We have the last 4 coming in-stock right now. We're offering them with a $190 discount right now...

is that a scout style scope? ie a long eye relief for mounting ahead of the receiver?
