Meg Whitman answers a question about how she will cut government spending if elected Governor in 2010. She is speaking to a group of 200 to 300 people at GenProbe in San Diego, CA 9/23/09
one problem I'm having is searching the Internet to get a list of programs she wants to cut. I cant find it. dose any body know where that list is so I can read it?
the bottom line is if california's income is around the levels of 2004-2005, the state will have to revert to the budget it had in those years. assuming the budget then was sound, it would be logical to follow the template.
California has more people in 2009 than it did in 2004-2005, and one of the lowest state employee to population ratios in the country. Furthermore, state employee salaries are a miniscule part of the state budget. She has obviously never looked at the state budget. Thinks like a CEO: I'll just fire people, and the bottom line will look better.

Lie to me eBay CEO. You ignored fraud and dishonesty while in charge, now you are going to clean up the state? Really.

Boy, that was a detailed answer, coming from someone who did it herself as CEO. This is something I don't hear any polititian say.
