Live8:
"Live 8 was, and remains a brilliant moment but what is more important is the brilliant movement of which it was a part. This gives the poorest of the poor real political muscle for the first time.
It is this movement of church people and trade unionists, soccer moms and student activists, that will carry the spirit of Live 8 on. It is this movement, not rock stars, that will make it untenable in the future to break promises to the most vulnerable people on this planet.
That was always why we put on the concerts."

Carter Beauford is a ROCK, damn ! Never saw such a f++++++ grounded, laidback drummer before (or after)....really inspiring (at least if your drumming yourself)..
First DMB song I ever heard - shame on me (or a compliment) cuz I thought it was a new Peter Gabriel track .....they both have this special timbre and lots of dedication in their voice..

Another reminder of why DMB is my fav band ever! And of a perfect musical, special day. I met some of the coolest people, danced and sang along to the acts and had a ball. When I was in a DMB cover band back in Philly, I loved singing Alanis' vocal on DDTW. That was always a treat, expressing the message in this song. Thanks again for the upload!

DMB rocks out, but one thing I have noticed while at their shows...very few people in the crowd rock out with them. Why so inhibited????

They should be called The Carter Beauford Band.
