  • If you want your clay to stay on the glass you need to cover the entire piece. If you just cover portions you will have to pull it off and glue it on for it to stay. That has been my experience.

  • Can you wash things with clay on like that cheese plate as you would normally? Thanks

  • @hussaruk Yes you can wash polymer clay by hand, not in a dishwasher

  • can i cover a bulb with translucent clay with canes and use it for lighting?? will it break?

  • As long as the bulb is 25 watts or less. If the temperature gets to hot it will cause the clay to crack.

  • How do you break the lightbulbs once their are baked?

  • You don't really need to pull them out of the baked item. If you want to break off the bottom, you can wrap the glass part in masking tape and gently use a hammer to break it off. The bes t thing is to just leave the glass inside.

  • you forgot a very important thing: the glass and polymer clay aren't that friendly at some times and you could have discussed that issue because it's quite disapointing to have your work not sticking to the glass when you had som much trouble into the patterns...

  • you shouldn't eat off of polymer clay >.<

  • this is so amazing! thanks for sharing, i was wondering if you use any kind of gloss at the end to ensure the clay or just the clay and that it?

  • I came upon ur video and i was wondering if breaking the light-bulbs was a safe idea because doesn't all bulbs have mercury in them?

  • HI, HOW DO I WASH THE POLYMER CLAY, FOR EXAMPLE THE CHEESE BOWL, CAN YOU WASH IN HOT WARM OR COLD WATER... CAN YOU GET POLYMER CLAY WET AT ALL.... GREAT VIDEO BTW

    LOVE

  • another idea with covering glass with canes, is to cut slices of cane, lay them on the glass, and then brayer them together... especially with funky canes (lace canes, geometrics, quilts) it really creates an awesome effect with the distortion
