@routergods yes, but it's well effective against armored vehicles and light tanks
-
hahahaha anti-human gun we win in the end
-
@bomenjan No it's a ZPU-2, a twin KPV mount used as standard AA machinegun in the 1950-1960 by URSS. Widely exported, copied in china. Today still used in many poor countries, chinese and russian productions. It is 14,5.

That gun is a ZU 23 aa gun it fires the 23mm round not 14.5mm round

Libyans fell in love with 14.5mmX114 for various reasons:
#1 They suffered a humiliating defeat in Chad whose main weapon was technicals vs the Libyan Tanks
#2 The terrain in Libya is mainly flat, so the small Technical can carry 14.5mm (even 23mm) and go smoothly opposed to rugged terrain where 12.7mm is the lighter preferred choice
#3 Most the fighting was with no air cover in a mostly flat terrain, so 14.5 range of 3KM made it the best choice
14.5mm X 114 suited that war
RIP Gaddafi
