Richards biggest 2010-2011 flaw was not getting surgery early. He tried to play through an injury that just utterly drained him and it was a mistake. But it was a mistake MADE from heart. Ask the Gold-Medal canadian team about him.

As I like to say, this is before Mike Richards became a bum! He has so much talent, but no heart whatsoever. He and Carter can either take a win or leave it, and that's not how you have to be in hockey. You have to WANT IT. For that reason, I'm thrilled that Carter and Richards are gone.
