  • is the x-pipe catted?

  • @cgd09ftw nah, its catless. im thinkin about putting in some high flow cats though.

  • hey zack u got a new vid coming soon??? jus wondering cuz no offense but this vid did sound so well im assuming it was the camera.. but the other vid sounded good and clean

  • @minicobra01 hah yeah, ill try to do another one in mud december when im done with school for the semester. ive just been so busy. and yeah i know the sound isnt the best here. my other camera had a better sound mic.

  • I have an '03 V6 with a VAP upper intake manifold, short ram intake and K&N air filter. Screamin' Demon coil pack, Ford Racing 9mm wires and Bosch Iridium Fusion plugs. BBK shorty headers and a custom 2.5" exhaust with custom fab'd X-pipe w/sound baffles, DynoMax Super Turbo mufflers and 3.5" echo chambers. I can still roast in first and get 2nd gear scratch running 10.5" tires with 3.73 gears. I'm looking into changing to Flow 44's, and wanted to hear the note. sounds pretty damn good too!

  • @ConTang03 hah thanks dude! yeah the flowmaster 44's are the third set of mufflers ive had on this car and they are by far my favorites. the first ones i had were the dynomax super turbos and i switched them for cherry bomb vortex mufflers, but in my opinion these 44's are the best because they give the car that awesome, hollow mustang tone.

  • Sounds ok, my mustang has a deeper tone. You need to put your cats back on

  • you should put the cats back on itll make it sound better trust me

  • @zachshallperish no it wouldnt true duals is no mid pipe i was just wondering what it would sound like with an h pipe but every1 ia runing x or divorced duals aka true duals

  • Not a problem.. If you ever decide to get a new set of headers, don't get BBK's low quality crap again. I have a set of them on right now and they were tack welded together at the flanges. I just bought a set of PaceSetter shorties from Summit Racing and they are by far the best set of headers I've seen for any car. 14G 1.5" steel primaries, 2.5" collector, all welds are solid and very clean, and the flanges are thicker and less pliable. and they only ran @$145 (as opposed to BBK's $270)!

  • @minicobra01 yeah, an H pipe would make it true dual as well, but you may need more pipe to run from the side where the y pipe doesnt run, see what im saying? depending how much pipe they gie you with the H pipe.
