We never finished the3rd floor but it was my brother and my favorite place. we could hunt the Havelina from the North porch and watch the planes from the south. Did anyone figure all the secret passages, like the 2nd floor kids room off the main stairway. It has a pass through closet between the rooms. So much fun I never thought I would see it again. A long time ago when the orchards surrounded the home and when the only sound was our family and the planes at falcon field, when Mom was healthy and alive, we wondered what would ever become of "The Palo Verde Mansion" as it was referred to at the time. Now I know and mom would be very happy. Did anyone figure out the puzzle in the library, Is the green room still green (west end ground floor) Does the basement still flood when it rains. did the circular staircase survive?
