This is my 2007 Christmas village model railroad. The train is an On30 scale Wonderland Express from Bachmann. The video was edited using iMovie '08. The original video looks brighter to me, since it seems YouTube's processing has darkened the video a little. Also, the original video uses Bing Crosby's White Christmas as background music. The copyright owner required I replace the music, so I selected the one-and-only substitute Christmas song available.

The cheap houses like I buy are usually $15 to $30 or so, and usually half of that price after Christmas.

Thanks. Purchased most of the buildings in the USA at Menards, WalMart, and Sam's Club. Each building includes a light which must be plugged in, so I hide the wires with fake snow, or just run them through a hole under each building.

beautiful! my husband and i are starting a christmas village with train this year...what train do you use and what set of village stuff?

Thanks. My train is described in the video info (Click more info above and to right). My houses are a hodge-podge from Sam's Club, Walmart, Menards, and a couple other stores. Just after-Christmas discount stuff ... nothing fancy. The train table is white foam insulation from Menards ... looks like snow. My '08 village is two trains and bigger. Should have a video up in a couple weeks. :-)
