What if Alex is the one who is dead, and that's why he is alone in the room and the shots are so much darker, and "Moving" means that he's moving on to the other side, but memories of Alissa and him are keeping him stuck there, but now he's at their apartment, unseen by her, where she is moving out and then he realizes that she is moving on, so he should too.
