MMA and JKD have no rules, no set styles or patterns etc etc.

@TerminatorFanGame Im some what with you on this, just to help jrdv86 understand what you meant about JKD...Bruce Lee is the father of MMA in some way, as he is the creator of the JKD style in which he took the best of each martial arts discipline and put it into "one training system" as such, so like mma which uses a wide variety of moves and techniques, JKD is a style which fits nicely into the mma fighting style. :)

@TerminatorFanGame just because dana white says jkd is modern mma doesnt make it true! the two are nothing alike mma is nothing more than full contact sparring, its a sport. jkd is all about ending fights as quickly and as viciously as possible, not gong 5 five minute rounds and hoping to win a judges decision! and im not trying to be rude or mean with this comment, its just the truth.
