Renee does better when she can sing with Lucy. When Renee does the first part solo, you can tell that she's a bit out of tune. Renee is able to match her singing voice to Lucy's once Lucy comes in. Actually, Renee is showing a lot of courage as she admitted that she can't sing very well, yet, she gets in front of a large audience and sings anyway.

I heard this was supposed to be one of the songs in the 2nd musical they were going to do...it's such a shame they never did another true musical...Lyre Lyre was fun, but I think it would have been cooler if it woulda been more like Bitter Suite

I'm a lesbian! They're soul mates as xena/gab and as lucy/renee! Come on, the chemistry the between them is intense, there're sparks between them when they are together too! but whats wrong with their relationship now, they are the best of friends, closer than sisters. they are not trying to hide/ignore their love for each other, you can see it every time they look or hug each other. they're STRAIGHT, there won't be a sexual component to their relationship. that's all i'm saying!

@gablison stop with this kind of comments!i know u re maybe mad at the lesbian community 4 seeing not only xena and gabrielle but also lucy and renee as a couple, but let me tell u - i am a lesbian and it is not the reason why i see them that way, because i never saw for example couples from l word or women from some other show as a couple and had wishful thinkings bout them.but with L&R is different coz there is some energy between them and I dare to say they r destined though they r not togdr
