Well here's another video of more gorgeous shoes, that some of our Lovely Women here in Sydney wear. After about an hour and a half of searching, the soundtrack is about the closest I can find to being happy with. Despite Peeptoe style shoes being one of the strong trends at the moment in fashion shoes, there seems to be plenty of women out there who still like the staple court shoe. In this video there are a few represented, including the very popular Wittner 'Luscious',both for work and a little less, the evening.
'Luscious' and it's slightly taller(and platform) stable mate 'Amber', seem to have cornered the market as the choice for women when it comes to the staple plain court stilettoe.Tony Bianco also make a shoe, styled very similarly to Luscious,to which the resemblance of these to the iconic Christian Louboutin Decollette 808 is uncanny, well plain as day is more like it,but they both carry it off well, right down to probably the most defining feature of the style, which is the almond shaped point of the toe. They must be comfortable because there are plenty of them about and they really are a good looking court.
Speaking of Louboutin, you will notice the rather demure Beige Simple Pump 80 in the video, well there is not too much to be said about this shoe,as it speaks for itself and let's face it,whatever Christian louboutin does,he does well and that's why everyone copies him,in style alone because the materials are unrivaled, creating one of,if not the lightest shoes on the market.
You will also notice a rather nice pair of beige Siren platforms, which I do not remember the name of right now, totally elegant and warm to look at with a suede upper, and a touch of glamour with the patent platform and heel, this teemed with the ivory jeans the owner was wearing,I think was a great look,Siren does it again ! One of my favourite Australian brand they just keep putting out fabulous styles, time and time again..just look at the strappy beige snakeskin platform for that !
The beige suede Tony Bianco wedge, how comfortable does that look and rather pretty too ! Reminds me of the Arnotts biscuit which I think was called Lattice,a layer of jam between two layers of puff pastry and large granules of sugar on top, yummy.Yet another great syle from Tony Bianco, one of the top three Australian brands.
Not to miss a mention is the beautiful grey coloured peeptoe platform,I think I was told they came from Myer.I would have to say that grey does not seem to be a common colour, but I think this bright shade is a rather nice one and complemented the lovely white and floral skirt the owner was wearing, very well !
I hope you all enjoyed the video,I will add to the coment a little further, regarding the rather lovely looking Black Suede Wittner bootie with what I think would be called plaits, but in reverse,as soon as I find out what it is called, and that 'cutting' edge platform, how funky is that !!
For the meantime Thankyou to all the wonderful women who gave their time for these pictures I hope you enjoy the video.
the snake ones are amazing!
