"My Reality" Original song by David Leggett

Songwriter's note: This one isn't really about me...yet...but my time's coming, just as it does for all of us if we stick around long enough.

I was inspired to create this (initially) because of a cover that Rebecca Shearing performed.

This is right from your heart and soul! Just a great folk style song with a country flavor! This is just great songwriting David! We can all understand these lyrics and time does catch up with all of us eventually. So well put my friend and very nicely sung and played! :))

I feel sorry for the guy in this song. As I have posted, he's got his whole identity wrapped up in being "biggest and baddest". I tried to step inside his mind and world and imagine...hope I did a convincing job.

lol...I know I'm singing "I" in this song but the song is not about me at all. I am just putting myself in the position of someone else when I sing that, but thank you so much for calling me a "nice person". Sometimes I really don't feel like one, and I never tire of hearing that.
