Does PRO gear make you a better photographer? If not, why do pro's use it??

  • MAKE YOURSELF A BETTER PHOTOGRAPHER USE FILM!!!

  • @thatnikonguy Well...I guess we'd have to define POS. lol...Digital under $250? Then... I think a cool theme would be to "capture a smile".

  • I know several serious photographers (who do photography for a living) who always blame cheaper bodies and lenses for bad pictures they take. Their contempt for cheaper lenses and bodies is dripping from them like sweat, and it usually makes me feel defensive and dumb about my own modest gear. So, thank you for this perspective, especially about earning the pro gear, and using cheaper gear to learn on - that's definitely my focus right now.

  • @thatnikonguy

to cancel out the wind noise. a dead cat its called, its a furry thing you cover your mic with.

please buy one or find one on the street lol

  • i just think that all a camera does is put certain limitations on a photographer, if your not very good at photography then you wont be reaching the limitations and therefore don't need a very good camera but for those photographers that know what they are doing and are being limited by what there camera can do, then they would benefit from a better camera

  • @ninjaboyteen hi, yes. I also do event management and some publication work.

  • @thatnikonguy thanks 4 ur opinion...are you doing photography as ur job ?
