It's been about 3 weeks since I first discovered you and the first version of this song. Since then I've been listening to all the music you've created, Two Steps From Hell (per your suggestion), and other music of this genre. Thanks to you, I've been reminded of the type of music that I have always enjoyed but had drifted apart from. Knowing you do this as a hobby, you have re-inspired a sense of direction for me to create music/art again. After I post this, I'm grabbing my sketchbook.

This is on a playlist with other things I listen to - when I simply need more fantastic in my life. I sometimes need and use music, for inspiration, even just for a better mood. I find my tastes so at odds with most of mainstream music these days, that I have largely given up on CD stores and services like iTunes. And here I find this, a piece of pure magic, wonderfully sorcerous music, that could and should stand far and above most mainstream music - and deserves its place in my collection. :-)

You know what? You can stand to mention the likes of Hans Zimmer, Russel Shaw, Michael Giacchino and this stands right beside some of their best pieces. There isn't a fucking doubt in my mind that if this was played by a full on Orchestra it wouldn't stand toe to toe with pieces like "Heart of Courage" and "Time"
Well done Makkon, I'm surprised I haven't known of you earlier. That has been corrected.

you know what @Makkon06 ? I played this Song at the funeral of my Grandma. I downloaded it just the day before she died and so i thought it would fit well. I explained my intention to the mourners that in the beginning you may cry but after the short break before the end when instruments get so loud my Granma would say: "cheer up and go on i am fine here"
I also have to say this Song sounds even more amazing in a wide old church. So everytime i listen to this i think of her and vice versa. thx

This perfectly captures the divinity of Luna and her sad past at the same time.

Could you please tell me what instrument is used after the silence at that time?
Or is it just clapping?

@imicusdown It's a layered beat, it's both a Taiko Drum hitting the rim, and a Gran Casa rim hit too. They sound really good together.

When I get older, I'm going to make a story.
With a book. With a movie. With a game.
With a legacy... It'll be like a second Star Wars.
This will be the kind of music I'll use while making it.
It has inspired me to make dozens of pages of writing.
To finish the story after over 9 years in development.
This is something, something so amazing that words can not explain.
It's hard to think how this kind of music is so unknown.
Thank you.
