No, the goals are not the same, not even in teory. Take a look at the communards, socialists of the commune de paris, had it anything to do with a powerfull and agressive state?

Besides, the distorcions that hapenned in the communist contries are NOT the goals of communism, here it is clear that collectivists disagree on goals. A classless society is certainly not a gooa of fascism neither of capitalism.

Again, you're not seeing the same thing. The core values of facism are complete glorification and power of the state over individuals, aggressive militarism, and elitism. Sound familiar? Sounds like every communist country ever attempted.

How many people just can't wait to get into communist or socialist countries? Contrast that with how many people try to get into the US?

This is infraestructural ! A core distiction, not a mere tatic. The economical system each "collectivist" ideology defends is fundamentally different. Workers direct ownership vs state absolute ownership. This determines completely different super-structures.

Either way, the generalization this dichotomy presents also refers to autority, one thing nearly all collectivists disagree.
