I recently played through FF 7 again and quite honestly aerith barely spends any time with cloud compared to Tifa. Aerith dies on the first freakin disk. And Tifa is always at clouds side. Near the end of the second disk cloud and tifa have quite a few awesome bonding moments. And if you played through Crisis core you will understand how I think zack and aerith are the best together. thats how it is. Tifa, cloud and marlene are a family and they live together. thats enough i think.

Zack and aerith have always been in a realationship, throughout crisis core. U see them together still at the end of advent children, but cloud just doesn't seem to get the hit. Tifa is perfect for him. She's always stuck by his side, and still waits for him when he leaves for long periods of time.

Zack and Aerith are perfect together.
Thats what I think.
Plus, Zack and Aerith are both dead, so thier both togeather forever. Right?

@silvertigrex That's quite a simplistic view and appears to be the prevalent thing nowadays, which boggles my mind. Cloud and Tifa are atrocious together. They barely interact functionally. Compare that to his interactions with Aerith. Oh, and Aerith and Zack have been broken up for ages and Aerith has stated countless times that she loves Cloud. And about them "both being dead"? Lots of people are dead and not shoved into a pairing together. Cloud and Tifa will die too someday. Just sayin'.
