  • I personally love Beast Wars and Animated better. But all of the installments have their ups and downs. I don't get why the GeeWunners think G1 is so perfect when it has more plot holes and contiuity errors than any other series :/

  • Not to mention the animation errors. Watch the first episode and count the amount of errors. I love G1 but its by no means perfect

  • Great vid bro! There is something for everybody in all of the series of Transformers. I used to be only G1 but I am very glad I expanded to love Beast Wars and Animated too.

  • Yeah when I was a kid I thought Beast Wars was an abomination and believed G1 to be the only cartoon worth watching. Luckily I grew up and broadened my horizons. I eventually want to own Beast Wars on dvd and as I've given up on owning the "Unicron Trilogy" so I'll check them out on here instead

  • Hope it gets sorted soon mate

  • Thanks mate

  • You should invest in one eventually man. I'd loveto hear your views on all things Transformers

  • Good video, I have not much clue about TF's back in the day but I can relate to how you feel about G1 because I see My Little Pony in terms of G1, G2, G3 etc..

  • ..., now of course, because TFs have such an established and varied fan base, any material that's produced is going to be much more closely scrutinised and criticised; it must effectively do what Beast Wars, Beast Machines and Animated do quite effectively; appeal to both the younger and older fans, which is a tricky thing to balance.

    hope this finds you well,

    George

  • Hey Pred, you've said pretty much everything I was going to say in my reply to Kalel :). I particularly agree on the point that the original gen 1 cartoon doesn't stand up qualititively when you watch it now; I think the principal difference is how the status of toy collecting has changed. You have to bear in mind that when TFs originally came out, they were kids toys; not collector's items or anything to that effect, and the same goes for the cartoon; it was made for kids and it did its job...
