Play it Through - World of Illusion Part 3

Hey everyone on this episode of Play it Through its World of Illusion starring Mickey and Donald for the Sega Genesis brought to us by Sega. World of Illusion is one game in the four game Illusion series but is only the second one available on the Genesis. In the game you play as Mickey, Donald or both together. The game offeres great single and co op gameplay with each type of game being different. If you play as Donald you will see things that Mickey doesn't get to do and vice-versa the same goes for playing co op. The game once again like Castle of Illusion is beautiful to look at and with magic being a big theme in the game in provides some really cool details including turning your enemies in less threatening beings such as flowers or butterfly's. In this run of the game I play as Donald as he tries to escape the magic world he is trapped in. Enjoy!!

I remember both me and my sister being blown away by the graphics in this game. A cliche line, but we both thought "It can't get much better than this..."

I feel the same way with regards to game preference. Castle of Illusion also felt a lot darker and more lonely. It was Mickey against evil, really. Nothing in the castle was friendly and it looked it.

I remember the trouble what I went through when I bough this game as a kid. There was also Sonic 2 on sale and I had to choose which game to buy. I chose World of Illusion in the end, but I had little bit regrets after I got home. In the end I did like the game and I had fun times with it.
