This video was created specifically for selling this bass on EBAY. The sound is not excellent. I am playing through a DRIVE practice amp and it is being miced from an external computer microphone. If you are interested on bidding on this bass visit EBAy and search for member bcpatti3.

  • Nice playing man! Out of curiosity do you remember what you had the warwicks eq set to? I've just recently got one and found that maxing out the eq is playing havoc on my amp but it's somewhat lacking if set flat. I'm considering turning down the internal gain pot on the preamp but thought I'd get an opinion from someone with a killer tone.

  • @TheGallery213 Listen I am amazed on the tone for this video considering it was playing through a little 8 inch practiceDRIVE AMP and recorded via microphone to computer. However, some things to keep in mind about tone. FIRST obliviously new strings, SECOND. eq set mid. or slightly above mid. THIRD. try playing closer to the bridge. the strings are tighter there but not only do you get a different tone there you can work on finger strength.

  • I love the tone of thumb basses but sadly I find they all have neck dive. Also some I have seen have some quality issues like gaps in the neck socket(bolt on).

  • @greyfoxzero This is an NT. I did not have any gap or quality issues. I did have the neck dive problem. one of the reasons I got rid of it. But other it was a beautiful bass.

  • brett favre?? jaja

  • @annekeloveangelsweet I dont know how I missed this. Just within the past two months several people have told me that I looked like Brett Farve and I told them they are crazy. Here you posted this 10 months ago. Funny.

  • Why does EVERYONE who makes a video of them playing bass insist on doing it whilist wearing short shorts >_<

  • @greyfoxzero Neck dive is a fact with a Thumb but I've found a way to reduce it; I have a broader strap and I searched until I found a strap that wasn't as slippery as some others I've checked out. Also, I wear a little high naturally, and I think that kind of minimizes the issue. Just for clarification, I do still get some neckdive, but doesn't interfere with my playing...and besides, the tone is MONSTROUS!

  • Neck dive is when the weight isnt balanced and the instrument while on a strap or on your leg tends to fall to the ground towards the headstock. Years ago I fell in love with a thumb bass and was about to buy it until just for shits and giggles I decided to try it on a strap. It was ridiculously bad neck dive. Sad really because it was a really good deal and the tone matched the hype that warwicks get. The fortress they had didn't have this problem but it didn't sound as good.

  • @greyfoxzero What is neck dive ?

  • Fantastic!
