To cover everything i have to say about this evocative site I have opted to provide some links which I believe will do a better job of explaining all about this circle.

One of my theories is that the hawthorn trees surrounding this circle may well be descendants of much older ones, possibly even from prehistory itself. .

  • Your videos really capture "the vibe" of these lovely places and your choice of music is always spot on. Nice work!

  • @theseakite2 Thank you very much, nice to know my work is appreciated!

  • Another great video Graeme, how I love stone circles. Do find this one intriguing as its right next to the river, looking forward to the information that follows this one. Just moved to Scotland on the west coast but I've only managed to find one stone circle ( Apart from the ones in Kilmartin Glen but that a different story ) so far and have put that one up yesterday.

  • @caradoc68 Lucky you! Whereabouts on the West Coast mate? Will be posting the info soon, the brilliant thing about this circle is the river having changed course over the millennium has carved through the circle, some of the stones are actually lying in the river or have tumbled down the bank! Just goes to show how ancient these monuments are!

  • WHAT A BEAUTIFUL AND AWE INSPIRING PLACE...THANKYOU SO MUCH...

  • @The9LADIES It is my pleasure, so glad you enjoyed. .
