Paul O'Shea Wins The Speed Derby At The Failte Ireland Dublin Horse Show 2010

Limerick's Paul O'Shea was the victor in the international Speed Derby at the Failte Ireland Dublin Horse Show, riding 'Daydream St Ghyvan Z'. American challenger Beezie Madden and 'Prima' were behind by almost half a second.

The Irish-bred 'McGuinness', ridden by the USA's Rich Fellers, took
third in the Derby, while in fifth was Shane Breen with another Irish-
bred, 'Dorada', with Denis Lynch and 'Upsilon d'Ocquier' placing eighth.

Billy Twomey and 'Je t'Aime Flamenco' were best of the Irish in the Power and Speed competition, with a third place behind
Spanish winner Jesus Garmendia Exhevarria.
