Eno came from a very middle class household I believe. As a producer and engineer, he works on a flat rate, project to project like a contractor. He acts on a high level but his means of acquiring wealth is entirely based on the fact that he works 6 days a week. In English society that makes you "working class". He's not born of the "upper class. In England, wealth doesn't buy you out of being the son of a postman.
