Now that's good graphics for the 2600!
-
guy guy outlined in blue is a pretty good counterpuncher

Really impressive character details (love those wonky eyes) and music for such limited programming. Nice work!

Looks great! I'm continually amazed by how far people are able to push the 2600.

Great Punch-Out-like Homebrew I followed this one on Atari Age and this is a great job by Devin. ^^ A great play.

Do you have to modify your 2600 to play any of these homebrew games?
because i looked at the atariage website and it says cartridge size
Does mean some fit in or what
some please tell me im as thick as a post

@HeavyMetalKing1000 No, you do not need to modify y our 2600 to play any homebrew games. The "cartridge size" refers to the size of the game's program, which generally starts at 4K and works up to 64K in size, not the physical size of the cartridge.

This isn't an original game! This is a clone of AVGN's K.O. Boxing! All they did was edit the sprites and sound! They copied AVGN K.O. Boxing!

@Bittergamer1886 This is the original game actually--the author modified the game to make the AVGN version.

Hmmm... when was this made?
Bittergamer1886 1 year ago
The developer first posted about this game in February 2008, at which point he already had a significant amount completed. The AVGN version was done later (August 2009) as a sequel to K.O. Cruiser.
There are threads in the AtariAge forum with all the details, but I cannot post links here. If you send me a message via YouTube I will send you the links if you'd like to learn more.
