Santa Fe, Tx City Council, speaking against police brutality

Here is a speech delivered at the Santa Fe city council meeting on Thursday October 23, 2008 requesting council to fire Eric Bruss. This is the 5th meeting that Michael Aldous has spoken at regarding the brutal conduct of Eric Bruss.

The facts are all out, Verdict Just in: Sergio Robles is NOT GUILTY of resisting arrest. Congratulations to Mr. Robles and council Kelley Case. Best of luck in the civil lawsuit against the city and officers Bruss and Gates.

its about time someone stands up to the corruption and abusive of police officers, its just ashame it takes 300 complaints, and a fox 26 news investigation to bring it to light. theres nothing worse than an officer abusing his powers, there job is to protect the men and women of santa fe, not slap them around, spray them with pepper spray and when there handcuffed in the back of the cruiser thry to ask a question or two. thanks mr aldous for standing up and doing whats right.

Well spoken Mr. Aldous, there are more people standing behind you than you could ever imagine, you'll definately get elected and be given your oppertunity to clean up the corruption. It takes so much courage from someone your age to stand up in front of such a panel and speak as you do. Alot of people truly admire you for your courage.

@77510brutality bruss sighned a arrest warrent for my arrest for a false report, because i called for a civiil stand by due to a physical fight that accured before i called, and it was caught on video, i was told when they arrived that because i was not bloody and i used the wrong term, that i abused 911, and that if they took the camera with the video i would have to give my baby to it dad, for the camera. now i was a police officer qat one point in time. bruss just sighned it, for another

Santa Fe Police crushed the nerves in my arms (handcuff, syndrom). They accused me of stealing gun and cash from a cop at a bar which i did not do. They literally ran me out of town and wrecked my life.They are bullies redneck crocks.
