There are quite a few viral emails floating around, making outlandish claims about health insurance reform and pretending to be careful analyses of the bills moving through Congress. Drafted to appear as if they are written by concerned citizens, more often the information comes from organizations with a strident agenda to protect the status quo. It's really embarrassing to see people buy into all these lies. It is more embarrassing that we have elected leaders who are more willing to create and/or spread them for political gain. It's about helping the American public, not reelection campaigns.

Since when did "conservative" become synonymous with "unscrupulous"? The claims being made defy basic logic, but there are enough morons out there who are drawn to believe them for all the wrong reasons. It's a shame.

They use an online PDF version of the bill and just search key words. Congress does the same. None of them actually read it all the way through. As for the bills being 1000 pages and arriving to the congressman or senator in the dead of night, it is done purposely.

The statement you put up said "access to", yet you said the gov. will not "be in charge of". Any agency that goes into MY bank account has to get MY permission, NOT gov. permission. PERIOD!

Clearly a line has been crossed that is unacceptable. Keep talking to industries & leaving out "We the People".

WOW. I thought the point of these "reality check" videos was to convince the people (MAKE THEM CONFORM!!!) that this health care system was great. This video just assures me that I should keep explaining to people how horrible it really is.

Yeah I'm aware that earlier this year American socialists denounced Obama as one of their own but the facts are that Obama does have a very mixed record skewing toward both Marxism and socialism but he is also the cabin boy for the banking & Wall Street oligarchs.
