CT had one of the best scenes in the 90s. The original youth crew/straight edge thing was awesome, crazy, sick high energy shows at the Anthrax. That scene kind of fizzled when the Anthrax closed and people kind of grew out of it. A bunch of smaller venues,VFWs and basements popped up. The local bands were awesome and a lot of Lookout, Dischord bands played all the time. From 1990 to 96 CT was easily one of the best places to be if you were into punk, without question.
