Nothing you said actually poses a solution. What are you trying to get? "Eartquake Preparedness" ? You mean in educating the public about what to do in an earthquake? Or are you talking about knocking down every building built before the '80s because they weren't built to withstand a massive earthquake?
What you say in this video is equivalent to saying "We need to be ready for when aliens come to earth ! Can you imagine what will happen when they arrive and we are completely unprepared ?

I am more concerned for the Mid West when a major quake happens along the New Madrid Seismic Zone. With the make up of the soil base here the damage would be far more devastating then anything that California has ever seen or known. The last triple event here 200 years ago caused the Mississippi river to flow backwards and formed a really large lake.
