Toronto-Montreal in 4 Minutes (The Busiest Highway In North America)

Shot this on my IPhone 3GS, using the gorillapod Time Lapse App. I set the camera on the rear-view mirror and programmed it to take one picture every 5 seconds. The seemingly slow first 90 seconds are a testament to how dense traffic on the 401 (one of the world's busiest highways) is. Those 90 seconds actually represent 2 and a half hours of elapsed time (yes, in traffic); the entire trip was roughly 6 hours.
Note: The Montreal metro area appears around 3:20

@niku10 Actually, it's Autoroute 40 to HWY 417 from Montreal to Ottawa, which is where I live. It's Autoroute 20 to HWY 401 from Montreal to Toronto.

@MorseCoach i drove a 24' box truck towing a car trailer to cornwall from the us. good GOD that wasnt fun at times. used the 401 alot, ill be damned almsot half of the entire province resides in 1 city
