  • aup mate liking ya style lol subscribed ;)

  • hey, im wonderin' how much money something like this would cost me to build, on my own?

  • Does the position effect the sound? I know distance does but if you put them side by side the same distance would they still produce sound?

  • i woundent dare connect a computer to the singing arc as some kickback and destroy your computer!

  • @napalmstrike2007 so when you change the amount of power going to the flyback and further to the ark. now, the arc is getting thicker and thinner in proportion to the audio.

so now the ark is heating the air in accordance with the audio and moves the air partials around producing sound. just like a boring speaker cone moves air around to make sound.

  • @napalmstrike2007 so usually the circuitry either uses PWM or AM to change the amount of power (in respect to the audio signal) going to the coil . (either way around the coil needs to be pulsed a a high freq. DC current thus the somewhat complex PWM or AM has to be used or else you wont get a initial arc)

  • @napalmstrike2007 look at what i told Hardstyle905. all that is is man made thunder, on a smaller, much much more controlled and refined scale, i don't have every single technical specification, but if you look up Masters of Lightning or ArcAttack you'll see the same thing on a bigger scale, and a touch less refined, more for outdoors use.

and i know they could tell you everything you wanted to know about it

  • @ShackTHEPyroFromHell simple, yet effective. nice. you saved me some time typing

  • Interesting, Would it be possible to get the schematics for this? it would be a fun project to try at home.

  • @AHAGIO3 Idiot, that little spark you see IS 10 times hotter than the surface of the sun, the reason it doesn't do anything is because it's only few atoms thick and the air around it absorbs all the heat.
