I love the idea of taking the eye shadows out of their original packaging and putting them into a pallete, but how do you get the darn things out? Every time I try I crack the cake. Any suggestions? PS, I am 44 and ALL ABOUT colour baby!

Loooove it!... I do my mom's make up all the time, and i loove when she lets me use bright colors like very bright greens! or stuff.... She looks lovely, and she is probably 15 years older than you!...

I am so glad I found this tutorial. No girlfriend, you are not old. I am 48 and am wildly crazy about makeup, and have been for years, and I am always glammed up when I go out at night. During the day I do tone it down a bit, but not so much that my makeup is invisible. I definately do not come from the natural look is better scene. I am a die hard Drag Queen at heart, so luckily I am a woman. LOL. You keep doing your tutorials, your tips are great,and your techniques rock. Good for you.
