Yes he is.. He was knighted by New Zealand. "Sir"s don't only come from England. lol. (and no i'm not a New Zealander before you start trolling). But he is, he was knighted in the NZ's Knight's Order of Merit.

I dont understand. Why doenst the Tolkien Estate want to sell the rights for the Silmarillion? I mean, they did it for LotR and for the HObbit. Why not for the Silmarillion?

Well sir, I don't agree with you, and I don't think you are in any position to argue. His performance has been well liked, and I should say, even my brother, who was a fanatic of Tolkien's writings way before me, agreed that Martin Freeman was a great choice, and that his performance was impeccable. Impeccable.
