To be honest ... Diana had the star capability , Flo had the powerful voice, and Mary always looked good filming. I love all three of these women ... Long live The Supremes legacy !

@defundthewar Motown wisely kept Diana doing the hosting and lead chores. After she left the group, Motown still kept Mary in the background until she began to just take over. When new lead Jean got sick, they had to cancel until Lynda joined and could take over lead - Mary was never considered when that happened. The more Mary finally began to get herself out front, the more the group slid - until it disappeared. Mary hasn't been able to get backing since.

I could watch this always - Cindy is so beautiful and warm. Diana's cool, but I hated what I call the "meatball wig." ;) Mary: gorgeous and, yes, sultry!
