the fact that you can never ever see nicko is a testament to these guys' commitment to musicianship over image.
That said, their image is cooler than everyone's.

@Drum3r4l1f3 Too bad I'm going in 2010 where I can't listen to Aces High, Run to the Hills OR 2 Minutes to Midnight. I feel so ripped off.

They still rock! I saw them for the first time with this same stage set back in the early 80s can't remember if it was 85 or 84? But it was good and they still rock!

As lemonadepack said, Sam Dunn was there with his crew filming the concert. Near the end they all came out on stage and danced around for a little bit. From what I remember, you can see footage from this concert in Global Metal (the sequel to Metal: A Headbanger's Journey), also directed by Sam Dunn

I recall seeing clips (without sound) on a VH1 program called "listed". Looked exactly like the Toronto show... same clothes on at the beginning and stuff, i assumed that it was recorded. dont remember seeing any cameras though. Anyway I e-mailed the producers of Metal: A headbangers Journey about it... Never got a response.

I think you'll need to wait for the dvd release. But the film crew he mentioned was definitely there and Sam Dunn was the one overseeing it (he directed METAL: A Headbangers Journey). I got pics of him poking out from the back of the stage periodically as proof

Man that was my first show!
it was incredible i was blown off of my feet
i was in section 122 row 24 seat 6.
Where was this camera at cause it kinda looks the view I had. But in all honesty im seeing them again in Toronto and you all better be there. Up the Irons!
