Bakken Watch released a video (Fracking: The Dirty Truth in North Dakota) on Nov. 14th, 2011, showing devastation in oil country. Within days, the director of ND's Dept. of Mineral Resources, Lynn Helms, sent legislators and citizens an email attempting to discredit the video. This is Bakken Watch's video reply (NO GRAPHIC IMAGES IN THIS VIDEO), featuring newly released clips of a phone conversation between the woman featured in "Fracking: The Dirty Truth" and a North Dakota state official.

  • "I watched the clip. What I posted has nothing to do with the clip." That quote says it all.

  • Obviously, people like to comment without watching the clip.

  • @aldenbuzz I'm going to venture a guess you haven't done any research. Seriously, please do. Start with the ND Department of Mineral Resources. Hell I'm sure Lynn Helms, the director, would be glad to answer any questions you may have.

Also, in before the "ND Government is corrupt" comment that will be coming next.

  • Frackers try to calim they drill far beneath the water table so it's safe from their leaky pipes

    Such liars

  • @paperboy05

I suspect you are an industry liar, a paid professional, a propagandist

    Good, stop bothering me

  • @aldenbuzz And neither is fracking in ND. Read up on where the water levels are in ND and where the fracking takes place. Until then, this conversation is done.

  • @paperboy05

Coke and Pepsi aren't putting their chemicals into peoples' drinking water.

  • @aldenbuzz Why do you think Coke or Pepsi keeps their ingredients secret? It's proprietary information used to make a lot of money, not too many people like giving money making secrets away.

  • @paperboy05

Why do you think frackers lobied to keep their chemicals a secret ?

    They're poison.

  • @aldenbuzz the federal government can stay the hell out of my state.

  • fracking fluid is a poison mix. .. Methanol (Methyl alcohol), Ethylene glycol, Benzene, Toluene, Naphthalene, Diesel ... etc... over 600 chemicals ..

    there's a doc

title: "UNITED STATES HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES,, COMMITTEE ON ENERGY AND COMMERCE , MINORITY STAFF APRIL 2011 ------------------------- CHEMICALS USED IN HYDRAULIC FRACTURING ----------------------------------------

  • Wow, the officials in North Dakota are hopelessly corrupt. The federal government should investigate, and intervene to protect the people of North Dakota from the fracking criminals and their hacks in the government that is supposed to protect the people of North Dakota.

They aren't doing their jobs !!
