I'm strongly considering buying a Kia Soul Sport once I have enough saved up (either silver or black). For the first time in my life, I would like a sound system that produces great sound quality without replacing it. I'm guessing that the sub woofer does the job since you were impressed with the Rondo's system. That is fantastic. I heard the pioneer sound system in the 2010 Scion xB and was unimpressed.

the 2004-2005 optimas are the best in my opinion i got an lx 4 cylinder with a nice sound system once you turn up the volume you will almost go deaf from the bass it even shakes the whole car but i am disapointed in kias service they dont hold to the warranty unless you give them a boat load of cash we tried the new optimas and it was less roomy than the 2004 to us but anyways good video

What is the wattage of this system? I want to compare it to the Kia Soul's Sound System.

The wattage of the system in the Optima is 360. The wattage of the Soul is 315. The Soul's audio system is the same one found in the Infinity equipped Rondo.

Really? wow, I didn't know that. Does the Rondo have a subwoofer like the soul? What do you think of the Rondo's/Soul's system.

Yes, the Rondo and Soul (w/audio upgrade) have the same components. I had a chance to drive an 'equipped' Rondo when the Optima was in the body shop. It is an awesome system in the Rondo. Really the only difference in the systems is that the Soul's isn't badged as 'Infinity'. The best way to hear it is to test it yourself at a dealership.

Yeah, we outbassed this one teen in a honda civic that had put in a 2,000 dollar pioneer stereo system! We had an unbiased person stand in the same spot, we parked the vehicles in the same spot (tested seperately), played the same song at full blast. Optima won. It is a good thing all of the bolts are as tight as they are. 4-cyl is almost too overpowered for that car!
